This page gives more information on all the workshops at Medieval Music in the Dales 2024. Click on the appropriate link below for VOCAL, INSTRUMENTAL, DANCE and OTHER workshops. There’s also a link to take you to all the workshops for youngsters.
Please note - and stick to - the indicated level of workshops.
If marked INT or ADV they aren’t suitable for beginners, and the pace and/or complexity will be too much for beginners.
ADV = only really suitable for experienced instrumentalists or singers.
NB: All workshops are included in the Festival Pass! You’l be able to reserve places once you have booked your Festival Pass.
Vocal Workshops

Ludus Danielis Chorus

Work with Choirmaster Richard de Winter to prepare some thrilling choruses from the Ludus Danielis, and then perform them with Trouvere in the Friday evening concert. -

Medieval Mayhem! Every day at 2pm in the Great Chamber, with the amazing Jude Rees
Crafty fun in the Garden every day 11am-2pm - no need to book
Have-a-go dancing and stories in the Great Chamber - no need to book
Children are definitely welcome at concerts and other workshops as well. And:
under 8s go free with their accompanying adult(s)
Accompanied 8-17s get half price on (almost) everything - Festival Pass, Camping, Evening Concerts, Study Day. Make sure you pick the ‘Under 18’ options in the Box Office.
